The Split Villa, with an approximate area of 460 square meters and 4 bedrooms, is located in Mazandaran Province, Iran. This villa is inspired by the traditional architecture of Gilani houses. Its roof is designed in the form of a special shell, with volumetric pockets of varying heights and gaps to allow better penetration of light into the villa. The design features outward-facing public spaces and inward-facing private spaces. Additionally, the use of volumetric voids and solids in the villa’s form aims to improve visual quality and light penetration. The primary materials used in this villa include cement and metal louvers, and the space is designed for use by a family.
